From St Andrews To Hoylake - Rick Shiels Raises £55k For Prostate Cancer After 500km Cycle Marathon
Personally I've been very lucky as I've not had any family members nor friends who have been affected by prostate cancer. The reason that I'm raising money for the charity is that it best matches my audience demographic which is very male-dominated and prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and those over the age of 50.

Top 50 Golf Coaches: Meet The UK's Best
Fifteen years ago we launched the inaugural list of our Top 25 UK Coaches. With help from the Sports Instruction Research Laboratory at the University of Georgia (the group behind Golf Magazine’s Top 100 US Coaches), we went through a rigorous process to find the 25 who we felt were the best. We have now extended that list to 50.

Engadget editors share their current YouTube obsessions
With TV production on hold and most film releases pushed back, the well of new content for us to consume while cooped up at home has started to dry up a bit. Some people are using the time to catch up on a long backlist or rewatch old faves (I’m in the middle of a Star Trek binge myself). And then there are those of us who have fallen down a YouTube hole, looking up videos of the things we miss while in quarantine.

Head to Head: Callaway Apex CF ’16, Mizuno JPX-900 Forged and Srixon Z565 irons
A few weeks ago, GolfWRX Members voted for the three game-improvement irons they most wanted to see tested head-to-head. The winners were: Callaway Apex CF ’16, Mizuno JPX-900 Forged and Titleist 716 AP1. Unfortunately, I was not able to access a Titleist 716 AP1 at my desired specs (62-degree lie, 32-degree loft), so it was replaced in the test by the iron that got the next highest amount of votes, Srixon’s Z565 irons.
Head to Head: Mizuno MP-5, PXG 0311T and Titleist 716 AP2 irons
A few months ago, GolfWRX Members voted for the three irons they most wanted to see tested head-to-head. The winners were: PXG 0311T, Mizuno MP-5 and Titleist 716 AP2. Today, the results of my test are in. I do a lot of these head-to-head equipment test videos on my YouTube Channel, but for this video I stepped it up. Each of the three irons were tested with the same shafts of the exact same length, and all the clubs had the same grips, lofts, lies and swing weights, courtesy of Tour X Golf fitters.
WATCH: Rick Shiels takes a lesson from Dan Whittaker
In this video, I get a lesson from UK-based instructor Dan Whittaker. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because Dan goes as dfw1500 in the GolfWRX Forums, where he’s been a member since 2006. There’s a lot to learn from my lesson, which uses the latest technology to show what I need to do better in my #QuestForTheOpen… and as you’ll see, several things needed to change.

Why You're Skying Your Driver And How To Fix It
The best drivers are supposed to be a source of joy for golfers. After all, there are fewer better feelings than a sweetly struck tee shot that sails miles down the fairway. However, it can also cause angst if you're struggling to find the sweetspot. Worse still if you're plagued by a tendency to sky the ball. In the video and article below, Golf Monthly Top 50 Coach Rick Shiels discusses why you're skying it and shares four fixes that will help you fix the fault.

Head-to-Head Driver Test: Nike Vapor Fly Pro v. TaylorMade M1 460
Given the excitement around this year’s Masters, I wanted to do a head-to-head test of the drivers being used by two of the longest golfers at Augusta National this week, Jason Day and Rory McIlroy. Jason Day, who currently occupies the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings, uses a TaylorMade M1 460, while Rory McIlroy (No. 3 in the OWGR) uses Nike’s Vapor Fly Pro driver. I was fit for each driver, and tested them on my Foresight GC2 launch monitor with HMT.
Head-to-Head Test: TaylorMade M1 and M2 Drivers
Given the remarkable visual similarities between TaylorMade’s M1 and M2 drivers, I wanted to perform a head-to-head test of the clubs in their most neutral settings and see what the differences were. To make it as fair of a test as possible, I hit 10 shots with each driver on Foresight’s GC2 launch monitor with HMT. Both drivers were set to lofts of 9.5 degrees, and were tested with the same shafts (Aldila’s Rogue Tour 70X) of the same length and tipping.
