Conservative politicians are targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at universities, including specialized graduation ceremonies for minority groups. The U.S. Naval Academy disbanded its Black Studies Club and removed books related to DEI from its library. The University of Kentucky discontinued its Harambee graduation ceremony for Black students and other diversity programs.

In the name of fighting wokeism, diversity, equity, inclusion and antisemitism, conservative political gangsters are laying waste to American universities. New on the growing list of casualties are graduation ceremonies that honor the uniquely challenging experiences of Black, Brown and LGBTQ students on predominantly white campuses. This one hits close to home. People moderately familiar with me know I graduated from Morehouse College.
