The new TCL A1 is an inexpensive portable with a $499 suggested ticket price before promotion and a unique industrial design that should appeal to a younger demographic. It's a compact and lightweight rectangular package, measuring 5.0 x 7.6 x 10.4 inches and weighing 5.5 pounds.

Christie has announced its release of the new Jazz series of single-chip DLP laser projectors touting WUXGA and 4K+ resolutions with high brightness in a compact, lightweight chassis. Four new models range in brightness from 16,600 to 23,750 ISO lumens (14,000 to 20,000 ANSI), all using Texas Instrument's 0.8-inch HEP (High Efficiency Pixel) DMD, which delivers native WUXGA resolution (1920x1200) or 4K+ (3840x2400) with the application of four-phase pixel-shifting.
