Iran Hits U.S. Base in Qatar
Iran attacks the Al Udeid air base in Qatar with missiles in retaliation for the U.S. strikes against Iranian nuclear sites. All the inbound missiles were intercepted by Patriot air defense systems and no casualties were reported. UAE and Qatar airspace is closed, Qatar officials responded that "it reserves the right to respond directly in a manner equivalent with the nature and scale of this brazen aggression.” Saudi Arabia also condemned the attack.
Strait of Hormuz Might Close
The Iranian parliament has approved the closing of the Strait of Hormuz for the first time since 1972. If approved by the Iranian security apparatus, this would impact the shipping of more than 20 million barrels of oil per day. This body of water connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea and controls roughly 20% of the world’s petroleum consumption. This drop in oil supply is expected to send prices higher.
America Attacks Iran
President Trump just announced that the U.S. military conducted airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan onSunday morning local time. An Israeli officialsaid the Trump administration notified Israel in advance of the strikes against Iran. Sources say six “bunker buster” bombs were dropped from B2 stealth bombers. Other sources say 30 Tomahawk missiles were fired from submarines.

Ukraine Drones Devastate Russian Bombers
Ukraine launched a devastating drone attack against the Russian Air Force. Drones secretly smuggled into Russia struck their strategic bombers at airfields deep inside Russia. The drones were concealed to the ceiling of container trucks and positioned outside the airbases. Ukrainian drones launched simultaneously and attacked four Russian strategic airbases, reportedly destroying 40 strategic bombers on four airbases.
