It was a patch of gravel that caused the problem. “The very next thing I remember after that is waking up in the hospital and it’s two weeks later,” Nick Jackson said.

OKLAHOMA CITY - After three decades of forecasting Oklahoma’s weather, Meteorologist Jed Castles is retiring from Griffin Media. Castles has been a familiar presence for viewers across the state, delivering forecasts through calm mornings and some of Oklahoma’s most severe storms. He says it is time for a new chapter. “There has been so much, so many people passing through those doors of my life, going through the station. It’s really, really incredible,” Castles said.
