Ammonia (NH3) is regarded as the most important industrial chemical, which is mainly used in the manufacture of nitrogen fertilizer and compound fertilizer. In addition, ammonia is also used as a bio-fuel to provide energy and as a refrigerant [1], [2], [3]. Ammonia is mainly produced by the Haber-Bosch technology. This exothermic process is catalyzed by iron-based catalysts under a high temperature (400–500 °C) and high pressure (10–30 MPa) [4], [5], [6], [7].
