It’s almost impossible to discuss the LX1E and gloss over its association with Ed Sheeran, as he and the LX1E helped bring travel-sized acoustics into the mainstream, particularly for players looking for a reliable option with stage-ready electronics. After all, Sheeran headlined Wembley with one of these things. In its current form, it features a Fishman Presys VT pickup system, replacing earlier Sonitone electronics, while the core construction remains largely unchanged.
