Fluent Commerce have released the findings of its third annual Retail Resilience study. The research suggests that retailers remain surprisingly optimistic about the year ahead despite the difficult economic climate. The survey of 100 retail professionals found 70% of retailers feel positive about the year ahead. 80% expect business growth in 2026. Only 17% of respondents expect losses this year. However, despite this renewed confidence, retailers continue to face significant challenges.

Workday have announced that Workday Data Cloud will integrate with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The integration gives developers bi-directional, zero-copy access to Workday’s governed HR and finance data through the AWS tools and AI services they already use, eliminating the need for custom pipelines, duplicated data, or rebuilt business logic. It also brings Workday Data Lake, Workday Data Connect, and Workday Live Data Query to AWS customers through an upcoming early access programme.
