Facebook, despite the fact that they're clearly censoring conservative news.
Why did you become a journalist?
9/11 inspired me to take pen to paper. This country needed to know what was going on in the world and could no longer ignore the threat.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a piece on the USS Cole bombing and the father of a sailor that was killed personally thanked me. That meant more than any response.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep churning out material and harassing editors to help you with your work or accept it. Worst that can happen is that they get annoyed.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Had a job applicant apply to a job with misspelling all over the place. If you can't take the time to proofread an application ...
What's your favorite drink?
Bailey's on the rocks.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
A bowling alley or basketball court.
