Preview party at Jackson Fairgrounds Park kicks off celebration of women making a difference across the region JACKSON, Tenn. — The United Way of West Tennessee held its annual preview party at Jackson Fairgrounds Park on Wednesday evening ahead of its premier fundraising event. The 13th annual ‘First Ladies’ Luncheon’ welcomes more than 1,200 guests each year to celebrate the impact of women across the West Tennessee community.

JACKSON, Tenn. — More than 80 high school student-athletes from 19 different sports were recognized at the Jackson-Madison Athletic Champion Banquet. The JMAC ceremony honored current athletes and also inducted past athletes into its legacy program. “We recognize our student athletes and legacy inductees that have demonstrated our core values: judgment, motivation, courage, service, and support,” said Ricky Catlett, JMCSS deputy superintendent.
