Ward, a five-time Pro Bowler who attended Nordonia High School before playing at Ohio State, has joined the Guardians' ownership group as a minority investor, a team source has confirmed to the Beacon Journal. Ward also joins Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as recently-announced minority investors in the ownership group, led by Paul Dolan and David Blitzer.
