Have you ever used a typewriter?

Used one? I owned one, not ironically. That's all we had. I even learned to type on WordPerfect in high school before computers had internet.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

April O’Neil. She was fearless, smart, and somehow managed to do real reporting while hanging out with mutant turtles in the sewers. Peak professionalism.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did. In middle school, actually. I wrote a think piece on animal rights. I had opinions, sure. But mostly I just wanted an excuse to use that Pixies song as the headline. (Want to guess the song?)

What's your favorite drink?

Coffee. I don’t do mornings without it. Or afternoons. Or, let’s be honest, evenings sometimes.
