At just 29, she’s enjoyed starring roles and writing credits on a litany of highly-esteemed comedies, like Issa Rae’s Rap Shit, Nick Kroll’s Big Mouth, and Ramy Youssef’s Ramy. Now, the stand-up, screenwriter, and actress is continuing that streak with a role on Will Ferrell’s new show The Hawk out this week on Netflix.

On June 13, 2026, the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs and were officially crowned NBA Finals champions, their first win since 1973. Even without the head-spinning comebacks (they made history during Game Four after coming back from a 29-point deficit), or the riotous die-hard fan culture, a championship win is a momentous occasion for any city, but especially one that’s infamous for losing.
