Depuis 2024, on tâtonnait.
Bridging the digital divide within BRICS
As the world becomes increasingly digital, I believe that digital solution is the critical solution for changing people’s lives, and even a country’s economic norms. Early in July at the BRICS Civil Forum in Moscow discussions highlighted the varying impacts and benefits of digital technology across member nations. A representative from Ethiopia noted that women are often overloaded with housework, limiting their ability to earn income and improve their living conditions.

Hardcore, Hardcare? Lessons from the Fiddlehead moshpit
Picture this. You’re going to a show tonight with some friends. It’s a genre you’re not actually super into; hardcore. You’re usually into something lighter, less intense, less aggressive. But your friend insists you get into it, he loves this stuff, and you love him, so you give it a go. You’ve heard about the infamous mosh pits, seen clips of people whirlwinding across gaps in the crowd, arms flailing violently through the air.

Understanding the Burden of Pediatric Gastrointestinal Diseases-Does a Look From the Perspective of Inpatient Administrative Databases Help?
Gastrointestinal (GI) diseases affect millions of US residents each year; recent studies estimate 4.6 million hospitalizations and $142 billion per year in both direct and indirect health costs.1x1Peery, A.F., Dellon, E.S., Lund, J., Crockett, S.D., McGowan, C.E., Bulsiewicz, W.J. et al. What We’ve Learned From All Star Event 2017 – Sam 'JustCasual' Han Jr – Medium
All Star Event 2017 has finished and I’ve spent a lot of time in it. I’ve watched hours of the event, read articles leading into and after the event, watched interviews, and recorded a podcast about the whole event as well with my awesome co-host Manny. So here’s my list of 5 takeaways from the event: With the Runes Reforged changes in preseason, the most popular tree is Sorcery due to all the free damage there.
4 things I learned from failing my climb this season
With 7 days left in the season, I desperately tried to see if I could climb from Gold V to Platinum V switching back to my main role as support. I’ve been spamming top lane the previous few months at Gold V as a solid Bronze top laner so my MMR was tanked around Silver II so I was losing around 20+ LP and gaining around 13 LP. So the deck was stacked against me.
How California skims federal Medicaid payments to fund a powerful union
Home caregivers serving Medicaid patients in California are being shortchanged and, chances are they don’t even know it. Medicaid pays for elderly and disabled individuals who need support with activities of daily living to receive support at home from a caregiver. But California and 10 other states deduct union dues from caregivers’ Medicaid payments, in many cases without the knowledge or approval of patients and their caregivers.
Why esports needs to be making produced podcasts. – Sam 'JustCasual' Han Jr – Medium
Why esports needs to be making produced podcasts. Everyone knows the attention for content is on social media, YouTube, and Twitch. That is where the eyes are and therefore your content should be there too. So where do podcasts fit into this industry? Mics and attachments are a fraction of the cost of what a camera and attachments cost.
Union membership should be up to the worker, free of ‘status quo bias’
Centuries ago, Isaac Newton laid out in elegant mathematical terms what common sense already told us — that a body at rest will tend to remain at rest, and a body in motion will tend to remain in motion, unless acted on by an external force. In physics, this is known as Newton’s Second Law of Motion.
Unions only care about privacy when it benefits them
It turns out the much-heralded commitment of the political left and its allies in organized labor to the ideal of privacy rights has its limits. And that limit once again manages to expire just short of themselves. For example, they’re all for protecting the identities of taxpayer-subsidized home health care providers already represented by the same public-sector unions that fund liberal candidates and causes.
An election night of discontent
As Post readers watched the election unfold, some used the comments section on the main Election Day story to vent about candidates, the media and each other. That hostility sharpened as a contentious election ended with Donald Trump as president-elect.
