What was your first job as a journalist?
I've yet to start as a fully employed journalist, however my first opportunity in journalism, was a High School sports reporter for KOMU8.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No I have not.
How is social media changing news?
I believe social media is changing news for the better, as it is allowing the general public to have access to a range of opinions.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
My favorite fictional journalist would have to be Clark Kent, for obvious reasons.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, being a journalist means telling the stories of those who are unable, in an unbias, truthful, and creative way.
What's your favorite social network?
X, as I enjoy the various opinions and people I am able to interact with on the platform.
Who do you wish followed you?
My dream follower would be Adrian Wojnarowski or Dwyane Wade.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school did not have a school paper, so I took it upon myself to create my own website, in which I wrote profiles on athletes.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of my column of Mizzou MBB Vs. Auburn, as I feel it is my most complete work.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
One piece of advice I would offer, would be to seize every opportunity that you are given, and no matter the circumstances, perservere.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am most likely to be playing music, in the kitchen, playing sports, or at the gym.
