Alexandria siblings Blake and Chloe Scholl look back on special 2024-25 year in athletics

ALEXANDRIA — Winning is always fun. It’s especially fun with family and friends by your side. Alexandria’s Blake and Chloe Scholl did that in the 2024-25 school year. These two siblings made their mark in Alexandria history by being the first siblings to win state titles in the same school year. Chloe won a state championship with the Alexandria volleyball team in November 2024, and Blake won a state championship with the Alexandria boys basketball team in March 2025.

Football: Chanhassen deals Alexandria heartbreaking loss in season opener

CHANHASSEN – Alexandria and Chanhassen scored 21 points combined in the first three quarters but scored 24 points in the fourth quarter, including 18 in the final two and a half minutes of Thursday’s game at Chanhassen High School. And in the end, the game came down to the final play.

Cross Country: Lots of optimism for Alexandria in 2025

ALEXANDRIA — There’s a lot of optimism for the Alexandria boys and girls cross country teams ahead of the 2025 season as they make the jump from Class 2A to Class 3A. With plenty of returning athletes on both teams, Alexandria is excited to make this move up a class. “There’s a bunch of returning girls with some support,” Alexandria head coach Travis Hochhalter said. “If we stay healthy we should be a contender for top two in the section and beyond.
