June 14, 2026, 6:04 a.m. ET A miniature bernedoodle walked right past a tiny fawn resting in the woods while on a walk, despite the pup's senses picking up the young deer's presence. Video footage shows Emmitt, the soon-to-be-4-year-old miniature bernedoodle, walking right over the resting fawn before coming to an abrupt stop. After looking around for a few seconds, he trots off on his way again, just as the fawn slightly lifts its head. “Oh my God,” Emmitt's owner Pamela Goodman says in the video.
