I’m Samriti Dhatwalia, a Delhi-based Sub-Editor at Delhi Press with a lifelong love for words that began in the hills of Himachal. I write about gender, relationships, identity, and the complexities of womanhood in modern India. My work has appeared in Womansera Magazine, SheThePeople.TV, and Feminism in India. I believe in telling stories that challenge patriarchy, centre women’s voices, and linger beyond the scroll.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked as an intern at National Election Management Committee (NEMC) and I used to get various kinds of information from the ground.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

No, but I would love to learn how to use it.

How is social media changing news?
