I keep seeing her name at all these environmental / political events. Tribute to Judi Bari: Join Dolores Huerta, Utah Phillips, Alicia Littletree and more. O.K. I know who Dolores Huerta and Utah Phillips are, but WHO is Alicia Littletree? Is that so much to ask? (and is that her REAL name?) So I called Ms. Littletree and left a real polite message on her machine, asking her to call me back. I didn’t even mention the AVA. I waited for her return call. I then called Ms Littletree back.

by Sara Jacobelli, March 30, 2020 Deerwood Corporation is running a sleazy real estate scam, targeting unsuspecting Bay Area immigrants by selling them undeveloped lots in Brooktrails at hugely inflated prices. The Bay Area buyers, targeted by an expensive advertising campaign, are brought up to the subdivision adjacent to Willits on chartered busses, and real estate magnate Tom Porter keeps them up there all day on a family-picnic type hard sell.

Why Barry Melton Hates Norm Vroman (April 15, 1998) by Sara Jacobelli, November 23, 2018 Ukiah public defender Barry “The Fish” Melton sent press releases to all Mendo County news media this week misrepresenting District Attorney candidate Norm Vroman’s past troubles with the IRS. KZYX Program manager Teresa Simon read Melton’s libelous statements on the air. Vroman responded by describing Melton’s summary of Vroman’s long, and ultimately losing, battle with the IRS as a “smear campaign”.
A Chance Encounter With an Extremely Minor Celebrity
Aunt Emily and Uncle Joe were the epitome of New York elegance. She was fresh-cut flowers, exotic perfume, stylish clothes. He was a painter of beautiful pictures who took me and my brother Nicky to Central Park; taught us how to ride the subway and hail a taxi; and took us to Greenwich Village and Little Italy and for walks near their apartment in Midtown Manhattan, pointing out lovely Tudor City buildings, gargoyles and a homeless woman who held an oil can wrapped in a baby blanket.
