Four Tesla vehicles caught fire at the Tesla dealership in Owings Mills on Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said. One vehicle that was brought in for service went up in flames just before 5 p.m., said Fire Captain Cynthia Gee Scott, a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Fire Department. The fire then spread to three other vehicles, she added. The fire was extinguished shortly after, but firefighters remained on scene to ensure the smoldering electric vehicles would not reignite, Scott said.

Vehicle crashes into Halethorpe car wash, driver hurt and business closed

A driver was injured after crashing their vehicle into a car wash in Halethorpe on Wednesday morning, shattering a window and closing down the business for the day. Police responded to reports of the crash around 11 a.m. in the 3500 block of Washington Boulevard, said Joy Lepola-Stewart, a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Police Department. The driver of the vehicle, described as elderly, was the only person injured, she added. The severity of the driver’s injuries was not immediately known.

Another measles case confirmed in Maryland after resident returned from international trip

The state’s health department alerted Marylanders to a confirmed case of measles on Saturday afternoon after a Maryland resident returned this week from an international trip. The Maryland Department of Health said that anyone who was in Dulles International Airport on Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. in concourse C’s international arrivals, on the transportation from the concourse or in baggage claim could have been exposed.
