Editors' note:  Guster's founding members, Adam Gardner, Ryan Miller and Brian Rosenworcel, started playing music together in a Tufts dorm room in 1991. Luke Reynolds joined the gang in 2010. And while Gardner may tell you Guster isn't a household name, the band has played Red Rocks, Newport Folk Festival, Radio City Music Hall and sold-out symphony shows across the country.

I wrote an essay this week for Cog about the Artemis II mission, and how it made me think of my dad who worked at NASA for his whole career.

My dad started working at NASA in 1966, right out of college. He spent the next 40 years there, as an electrical engineer. He worked on projects involving microwave remote sensing, like Seasat, an early satellite used to measure winds on the ocean’s surface, and later, HIRAD, a hurricane imaging radiometer.
