@jburnford @ActiveHist @earlycanada @NiCHE_Canada Then you did a very good thing. It's my hope that English profs would be able to put such work on their CVs—but I don't know that they can.

@jburnford @jasone_history @ActiveHist @earlycanada @NiCHE_Canada I think the situation may be slightly different in history. It was always my sense that English was especially enthusiastic about jargon.

@jburnford @ActiveHist @earlycanada @NiCHE_Canada I'd be interested in knowing whether there are comparable sites for English. As I recall, even non-UP books didn't "count."
