Why did you become a journalist?

I became a journalist because I love to write and listen to people.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I am most proud of the murder series I worked on for my college paper, the Daily 49er.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't let rejection discourage you! Keep pushing until you find the answers you need.

When's the best time to pitch you?

I am the most active online early in the morning to mid afternoon.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

When I'm not at my computer, I'm most likely to be rock climbing.
