I was an intern at the Santa Cruz Sentinel. It was a great experience! I loved covering the people and events of my community.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! I used to write my parents "letters" when I was a kid.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I prefer a couple paragraphs telling me the cold hard facts and giving me a background on why the product/person might be "newsworthy".
