Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers are among the most common cancers of the decade, many of which have a poor prognosis. Due to the high prevalence of toxicity and adverse drug reactions (ADRs) of chemotherapeutic agents and low patient compliance, there is always a need for drugs that can be used as adjuvants to existing cancer treatments with low ADRs which can boost the efficacy of chemotherapeutics and reduce the associated toxicities.

1. Introduction This article examines how Muslim migrants with an ethno-religious minority background1 live and organise their religion in the everyday context of the UK. Addressing Muslim minorities’ religiosity is significant and fills a critical gap in the field, which often homogenises the Muslim category and overlooks the diversity of backgrounds, practices, and intersectionality of identities within this category and migratory context.

Abstract Human astroviruses (HAstVs) are considered important causative pathogens of acute gastroenteritis (AGE) in children under 5 years of age worldwide, along with group A rotavirus (RVA), norovirus (NoV), and enteric adenovirus (EAdV). The present study was aimed to both detect HAstV and its co-infections and investigate genetic analysis of circulating HAstV and co-infected virus in hospitalized children under 5 years of age with AGE in Iran.
