SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A program in the City of Spartanburg is making a difference for homeowners still recovering from Hurricane Helene and other natural disasters. In the fall of 2024, Hurricane Helene tore through the Upstate and although the storm has passed, some Spartanburg homeowners are still dealing with the damage. "I'm still getting calls, maybe twice a week now, three times a week," David Maher said. Maher is with the City's Neighborhood Services Department.
