By Scott Beattie PERTH, Australia — Saturday at the Perth Motorplex Kye Blight showed that a bit of racing rust meant absolutely nothing, his pure talent on show as he led every lap of the forty lap feature race to be crowned the new Australian Late Model champion. Blight was strong across the weekend and did enough to qualify himself on the front row for the main event alongside Brent Vosbergen.

By Scott Beattie On a night that celebrated 300 rounds of the Pro Dirt Series it was Australian champion Joe Chalmers who destroyed the opposition to win every race he started, including the main event at Western Australia’s Perth Motorplex. As the big shows begin to come into focus, Chalmers is showing he is in form at the right time, starting off pole position after being undefeated in the heat races to go on and grab the win, even if he didn’t lead every lap of the main event.
