A day after the Usos likely response to his ‘Samoan guy’ quote, the AEW star says hi to his currently idle old rival. We started the week with Andrade El Ídolo telling Latin Lover about how it’s difficult for Mexicans to break out in WWE because the company gives preference to acts they are determined to make stars, or favor for other reasons. He brought up “Samoan guys” late in the most-shared quote.

WWE releasing NXT talent, starting with former Speed champ (updating)

It wasn't event-ized like the NFL ones that happened last weekend, but it seems WWE is doing its own version of “cut day” at its Performance Center in Orlando today (Fri., Sept. 4). The first sign was when Jasper Troy posted this on social media: 30 Days🖤 Speculation was that Troy had been released, as NXT talents usually have a 30-day non-compete period to close out their contracts. PWInsider's Mike Johnson soon confirmed the 28-year-old big man had been let go.
