That creativity led to Luke Weaver getting as save this past week and it sounds like Boone would be open to going back to Weaver again in the near future.

Jake Cousins, Seranthony Domínguez, Kyle Finnegan, Jason Foley, Mason Miller, David Robertson, and Kirby Yates all had three SV+HLDs this past week. Mostly familiar names on the leaderboard for this past week. It’s good to see the likes of Domínguez and Finnegan bounce back after some shaky outings, although Finnegan is still lucky to come out of this week with three saves after allowing six hits and a walk over his three outings.

With 24.5% K-BB and 32.6% CSW rates, as well as a 2.60 SIERA on the season, Walker as a full time closer might be a top 5 closing option right now. He is the Giants closer for now, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility Doval returns in a few weeks and gets a chance to take his job back.
