Background In 2018, more than 22,000 new cases of breast cancer were reported in Turkey. Breast cancer, like many other cancer types, is associated with the activation and overexpression of CXCR4. This overexpression is linked to factors such as tumor growth, the angiogenesis process, increased metastasis, and therapeutic resistance.
