Hi! We're looking to start our own website for our with the hopes of generating more direct booking leads rather than solely relying on Airbnb. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good starting place? What websites are good for building booking sites? I've heard about Square Space and Crafted Stays, but wanted to ask the larger community for recommendations.

The individual who booked our Airbnb never showed up and appeared to book the property for some younger boys. Our policy states the primary guest is to be at least 25 years old. I can't say for sure the guests weren't of that age, but nonetheless, she never showed up. The guests who did stay, took care of the property and left it in good condition, but none were the individual who booked the stay. It was not disclosed to us that she would not be staying.

Hi! We're new hosts to the STR community, but have managed MTRs for about 3 years. We have always screened our MTR guests, and so far, have required our STR guests to complete a verification through Truvi. So far, we've had a few guests flagged by Truvi for criminal background, but Truvi will not disclose the nature of the red flag.
