Fuel folly Sir, As I write these lines, 95 percent of fuel stations in Lahore and 25 percent of those in Karachi are closed. The situation has paralyzed the country, even those dealing with cases of severe emergency. The effects of this crisis are quite visible. Factories have stopped production, trade has come to a standstill, and people cannot go to work. The situation has resulted in a great economic loss.
General Poetry : Hamariweb.com
A solemn confession I feel your presence around. I hear you in every sound. You are alive. You are very much alive, In our memories. In our hearts. But sadly for some, You are alive just in parts. These were few earlier, Now they are many, And they are the ones, Who employ all the ways uncanny? There is so much to owe. But nothing concrete to show. We miss you so much. Our dear Quaid. Please forgive us. Our nation is lost. We seem buried in frost. Frost of forgetfulness. Slumber and idleness.
18th Saarc conference
How to make Saarc a vibrant organization? 18th Saarc Conference is being held in Nepal. It is being held after three years. Whether it would make some positive headway is yet to be seen. Saarc was created in December 1985.It is an economic and geopolitical body. Its charter was adopted in Dhaka. One fifth of the world’s population belongs to Saarc countries. Why regional bodies are formed, the motive is simple. Unless there is a desire for reconciliation, mutual peace cannot ensue upon.
Those beautiful eyes
Those beautiful eyes Those eyes were beautiful and adorable. The long impact they had on mind. The desire to see them long ignited. The beauty cast a spell and entranced. They were speaking and talking. And a beautiful communion they held. The wish to write poems on them. Make them the title of some magnum opus. The enticing eyes, the magical eyes. Transporting me in another realm. Making me forget the worries of life. Bringing a beautiful smile on my lips. Engaging me despite my busy routine.

He played only the first ODI in which he scored only three runs.

PPP suggestions
THE Pakistan Peoples Party representatives have come up with some very sane suggestions in the current scenario when certain other political parties and pressure groups are bent upon destabilising the political sytem. The PPP proposal is to set up a parliamentary commission comprising Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri and members of the government and opposition in the National Assembly and Senate. This commission should look for a solution acceptable to all.

Energy crisis, causes & remedies
Shanzeh Iqbal discusses the energy crisis of Pakistan on Pakobserver.net Pakistan has been suffering from an energy crisis for about half a decade now. The power crisis is proving to be unbearable. The sad state of affairs is that despite having enormous renewable resources of energy, Pakistan has to import a huge amount of hydrocarbons from abroad to meet its energy needs. As recently as 2001, the country had 4,000 megawatts of excess power capacity.
Fake Democracy in Pakistan
#16 This is why democracy is a hogwash. Why do we need to have voters list on the first place? Why not go with ID card and cast vote with electronically scanned thumb imprints! Then how can they get get those millions of votes without those voters even existing?? Trust me, no matter what technology we get, our politicians will find a way to bypass the security features. Afterall, they've been earning millions out of our pockets, they have a lot of money to spare.
