The night started with a moment of silence before the music of Mozart commenced. “First of all, the work itself, the ‘Mozart Requiem,’ is one of the pillars of classical music, and the text itself is intended to reflect on people’s passing,” said Kenney Potter, conductor and artistic director of the Charlotte Master Chorale.
