It’s hard to pick a standout role from the late, great Catherine O'Hara, who died in January. There’s The Studio, Beetlejuice and Home Alone, but nothing leaves me crying with laughter as much as her turn as Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek. I’m sure I’m not the only one. The Canadian comedy series, which began in 2015, tells the story of the Rose family, who lose their vast fortune and move to the tellingly titled Schitt’s Creek, a two-bit town that they once bought as a practical joke.
