Shira Fine’s Biography
Shira is a recent LA transplant, after spending the last decade working as a strategic communications professional in Washington, D.C. She is currently a Vice President at SKDKnickerbocker, bridging the communications gap between the East and West Coasts. She works on a range of legislative, regulatory, reputation, and public relations issues for corporate and non-profit organizations.
Shira was previously a Senior Director of Communications at Global Strategy Group, where she consulted for numerous clients, including Laureate International Universities, PhRMA, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Seventh Generation, and League of Conservation Voters. She also worked at GMMB as a media buyer during the 2012 campaign cycle on behalf of clients including Obama for America, Senate and House PACs, League of Conservation Voters, and Sierra Club. Before GMMB, Shira provided communications counsel and support at Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter & Associates (now CLS Strategies) to clients including the American Dental Association, Pfizer, and the Champagne region of France.
