David Walker’s Biography

David Walker is Mahlab's business editor, overseeing the Public Accountant and Financial Accountant publications. He also runs editorial consultancy Shorewalker DMS, which specialises in creating reports for organisations and content for business publications.
Shorewalker DMS's recent work includes assignments for the NSW Productivity Commission, Investment NSW, Inside Story, the Institute of Public Accountants, NSW Treasury and Company Director magazine.
David has edited business publications INTHEBLACK, Acuity, Public Accountant, ANZIIF Journal and Australian Chief Executive. He has also been a journalist and columnist for The Age, the Sydney Morning Herald and the Daily Telegraph, led policy and communications for think-tank CEDA, headed communications and advocacy for the Business Council of Australia, helped manage two start-ups, and run a kids' football club.
He currently blogs at Club Troppo and produces the Shorewalker on Reports podcast.
