Long-term time series forecasting (LTSF) focuses on predicting future sequences based on a fixed-length historical series, with applications spanning key domains such as meteorology, electricity, and traffic. The datasets used in this study—ETT (electric transformer load and oil temperature), Weather (meteorological indicators), and Traffic (highway occupancy)—correspond to these practical scenarios, which explains the continuous emergence of new methods in recent years.
