On 19 August, Financial Services Minister Daniel Mulino unveiled a suite of reforms covering several key areas of financial advice and superannuation, including the CSLR, and specifically the special levy disallowance period. At present, the disallowance period is 15 sitting days of each House – not calendar days – during which Parliament and relevant bodies can challenge and potentially disallow the proposed special levy instrument.
