Assembly of Bioactive Superstructures via Metal–Phenolic Complexation for Blood Purification
1 Introduction Hyperbilirubinemia results from impaired bilirubin metabolism or excretion, leading to the accumulation of free bilirubin in the bloodstream and subsequent damage to the nervous system, liver, and other organs [1]. In severe cases, this condition can progress to brain injury, hepatic encephalopathy, or death [2].

Decision-analytic models in the economic evaluation of community health worker programmes globally: a systematic review
Community health workers (CHW) programmes are widely recognised as an equitable and cost-effective approach to delivering primary healthcare and advancing universal health coverage, particularly in underserved areas. Decision-analytic models (DAMs) are well-established tools in health economics for predicting long-term costs and outcomes that go beyond the scope of individual trials.
High-flow nasal cannula for acute respiratory failure: a bibliometric analysis of current trends and future directions
Abstract Background: High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy has emerged as a pivotal non-invasive respiratory support modality for acute respiratory failure (ARF), fundamentally transforming critical care practice. Despite substantial growth in HFNC research and clinical significance, no comprehensive bibliometric analysis has systematically examined the knowledge structure, research trends, and emerging frontiers in this rapidly evolving field.
Correction method for cloud temperature retrieval combining rotational Raman, vibrational Raman, and elastic scattering lidar channels
Raman lidar is an important technique for atmospheric temperature detection. However, under thick-cloud conditions, the accuracy of in-cloud temperature retrieval is severely compromised by leaked elastic signals beyond the system’s conventional suppression capabilities. To address this problem, we propose a four-channel joint-retrieval cloud temperature correction method built on low- and high-quantum-number rotational Raman (RR), vibrational Raman (VR), and elastic scattering channels.
Preoperative gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase for predicting postoperative recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma with wide resection margins: a multi-institutional study
Abstract Wide resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) typically enhances tumor clearance and improves prognosis. However, owing to its complex pathogenesis, postoperative recurrence remains common even with wide margins (> 1 cm). This study explored the prognostic value of GGT in the development of nomograms for predicting recurrence in HCC patients with wide resection margin.
A method for aerosol fluorescence lifetime measurement based on Mie-fluorescence lidar
In this Letter, a remote sensing method for measuring the fluorescence lifetime of aerosols is proposed, which combines the Mie-fluorescence lifetime-scattering (MFLS) model, established based on Mie and fluorescence lidar theory, with the golden section search algorithm. The feasibility of this method was verified through numerical simulations, which demonstrate its ability to measure aerosol fluorescence lifetime by using nanosecond laser pulses.
Advances in etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of lymphedema: a comprehensive review
1 Introduction The lymphatic system is unique to vertebrates and functions as a drainage of excess interstitial fluid, fat absorption and immune surveillance. It consists of lymphatic vessels, lymphatic tissues, and lymphatic organs. Unlike blood vessels, lymphatic vessels do not form a closed circulation but operate as a unidirectional system, with lymph flowing centripetally toward the heart. The system begins with initial lymphatic vessels, followed by precollectors, collectors, and trunks.

Photon counting method for atmospheric LiDAR echo signals based on waveform decomposition
To address the issue of photon counting rate saturation distortion caused by the photon pulse stacking effect in the photomultiplier tube (PMT) output of atmospheric LiDAR systems, a photon counting method for LiDAR echo signals based on waveform decomposition is proposed. This method simulates the single-photon pulse response waveform of the PMT and uses it as the basis function for waveform decomposition.

64-channel label-free fluorescence detection and single-particle counting device
Abstract A 64-channel detection system for laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) detection at the cell level is established and applied to single event counting. Generally, fluorescence detection at the cellular level requires a dyeing label to enhance the scattered light intensity for the photodetector. However, the dyeing labels, such as fluorophores, probes, and dyes, complicate sample preparation and increase cytotoxicity in the process.

Poor prognosis of nucleophosmin overexpression in solid tumors: a meta-analysis
As a multifunctional factor, NPM participated in cell growth, proliferation, transformation and apoptosis [9, 33]. In the past studies, most of researchers found that overexpression of NPM may promote tumors progression and predict poor prognosis of cancer patients, and they even expected NPM as a new biomolecular marker for improving clinical cancer therapy and outcomes [4, 32, 34]. However, the prognostic value of NPM among different solid tumors is still in contradiction.
