Discovery of Pt (II) complexes based on terpyridine skeleton and study of their antiproliferative activity against pancreatic cancer cells A novel platinum (II) complex based on terpyridine skeleton was developed in order to seek metal complex interacting with DNA of tumor cells with higher affinity. 1-(4-([2,2' :6' ,2'' -terpyridin]-4' -yl) phenyl) piperidine-4-carboxylic acid (CPT) was selected as organic ligand, and complex of CPT and Pt (CPT-Pt) was afforded by hydrothermal approach.
