Southeastern University in Lakeland continues to expand its impact on Central Florida with its dedication of the new Winter Haven campus. WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Southeastern University ( SEU) officially celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of its new campus in downtown Winter Haven, marking a significant milestone in the university’s continued expansion across Central Florida.

We have reached a milestone worth marking: two million trees planted. At LEX Reception, every client and every team member helps us plant a tree each month. It is a commitment to being good ancestors. A quiet, steady promise that has run alongside everything we do, minute by minute, month by month, year by year. And those trees have added up. Two million of them now – a long sequence of decisions made by real people, compounding over years into something neither we nor they could have imagined.

When you enter a redwood forest, you notice the scale and the quiet. Those trees are survivors and custodians of a landscape that supports wildlife, water systems, and local communities. For over a century, the Save the Redwoods League has protected these forests and carried out large-scale restoration efforts where damage and decline have occurred. With your help, we are proud to support the stewardship of these ancient trees and the impact of restoration on our communities, as well as our planet.
