3. Results and Discussion 3.1. GC-MS Analysis of TTO and Encapsulated TTO The composition of the commercial sample of TTO used was compared with that reported in the literature. The percentage of the chemical marker stated by ISO 4730:2017 [], terpinen-4-ol, was determined as 44.8%, as well as other highlighted components (A). It is important to point out that o-cymene, a decomposition indicator, was detected at a low percentage in this analysis.
