Most Harwinton residents left without power after July 4 storm

The Town of Harwinton is currently under a state of emergency after a Fourth of July storm devastated miles of trees and infrastructure. Eversource reported about 85% of the town was without power as of Sunday afternoon. According to the town, most of the damage happened on the northwest side, where trees were uprooted and power lines came down. Mike Eaton, a Harwinton resident, said the roads near his house were left impassable.
