Over the past 12 years, plant collector and self-described rescuer Rob Bergin has transformed what was once a bare block into a lush, jungle-like oasis filled with mature palms, dragon trees, cycads, bottle trees, tree ferns and countless other unusual specimens. Many were destined for the tip before Rob stepped in to save them. What began as a practical response to seeing healthy trees discarded during his earthmoving work has evolved into a living collection of rehomed plants.
