DENVER (KDVR) — A man who works for the GEO Group allegedly shot a woman protesting near the ICE Processing Center in Aurora, Colorado on Thursday night, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department on Friday afternoon. The man, identified as 42-year-old Brandon Booth, was arrested after fleeing the scene in his vehicle, police say. Just before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aurora police responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of N. Nome Street.

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested for surfing naked on top of a moving locomotive on Thursday, according to a social media post from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office. The man, identified as Daniel Ray Ballance of Quartzsite, Arizona, broke the window on a Union Pacific Railroad locomotive and entered it. Ballance was arrested and faces a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
