College is a time for students to explore what they like and find out who they are. This is especially true when it comes to matters of faith. While studies show that most young people choose to go against the faith they grew up with once they go to college, many others are concerned about maintaining their faith in a secular environment. If the latter describes you, there are ways to maintain your faith while on campus. Most college campuses have some form of organization for various faiths.

Freshman year is a tough time for many students. It can be tough to transition into a new school. For me, it was stressful adjusting to a new workload and social life. Though many go on to get four-year degrees or higher, those who choose to get just an Associate’s still receive many benefits that community college offers. One of the greatest things about community college is the low cost.
