As a fellow fan of '70s and '80s music, especially progressive rock and new wave, I appreciate meeting like-minded peers; however, I disagree with the idea that new music is inherently inferior and bad, and I believe that by disregarding new music and generalizing it as nothing but meaningless pop, you not only miss out on a lot of great new music but also ignore a lot of popular music’s history over the last sixty or so years.
