Peter Gilmore, an assistant soccer coach the last two years at Iowa Colony High School, is “ready to put his stamp” on the boys’ program this upcoming season. Gilmore, 42, was recently promoted to head coach following the departure of B.J. Brittain, who returned to Splendora after one season.

Having played on several playoff teams at Danbury High School, Allison Solomon, Class of 2014, was already well aware of the annual high expectations placed each year on the school’s most successful sport.
