But some said the improvement can't come soon enough, as concrete has already fallen and damaged cars. Dozens of stalls at the Honolulu Civic Center's underground parking lot are taped off. Some of them have chunks of concrete missing from the ceiling above. It's called spalling, a common issue in Hawaii.

State AG’s office will review Sylvia Luke’s campaign, Luke’s second investigation

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Embattled Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke could be under a second criminal investigation by the state Attorney General's office. The Campaign Spending Commission voted on Wednesday to refer its complaint to the AG's office, accusing her campaign of filing false reports and mishandling money. The state Campaign Spending Commission said Sylvia Luke's campaign for Lieutenant Governor had too many errors to be overlooked.
