1 Introduction The aesthetic success of an anterior restoration is predominantly dependent on the reproduction of the tooth's natural shape and optical characteristics, such as color [1]. Color is one of the most significant parameters when evaluating the quality of an anterior restoration [2]. Different studies have assessed the prevalence of tooth color in varying ethnic populations, and several evaluated the color distribution of natural teeth according to age and gender [3-6].
